McLaren Formula 1 team and OKX, the Web3 tech wizards, have joined forces to unveil a limited-edition Stealth Mode livery that’s set to make the McLaren MCL60 F1 cars shine.
And this special livery will debute at the upcoming 2023 Singapore Grand Prix (15-17 September) and the 2023 Japanese Grand Prix (22-24 September).
Now, when I say “Stealth Mode,” I’m not talking about some sci-fi movie; I’m talking about a special design, co-crafted by OKX and McLaren that takes McLaren’s classic papaya trim and cranks up the cool factor by adding a dash of black.
But there’s more to it than just cool aesthetics. This livery represents something deeper, something that both OKX and McLaren stand for – the belief that hard work behind the scenes is the secret sauce to excellence.
The MCL60, dressed in its Stealth Mode glory, made its grand entrance on September 13th at an exclusive media event in Singapore. OKX’s Chief Marketing Officer Haider Rafique, McLaren’s speed demons Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, and McLaren Racing’s Executive Director, Matt Dennington were all there to unveil the car.
There’s more for the fans too. You can get your hands on a limited-edition Stealth Mode t-shirt through the McLaren Store. And if you’re lucky enough to be attending Token2049, the Web3 conference in Singapore just before the race, you might just snag one for free.
Now, for those of you in Singapore, get ready for something special. OKX is bringing the McLaren vibes closer to you with the OKX Race Club at Chijmes. It’s not just a fan zone; it’s a whole experience.
You’ll find a Stealth Mode show car, racing simulators that’ll make you feel like a real F1 driver, giveaways that’ll make your day, and surprise guests that’ll make you pinch yourself. It’s like Disneyland for racing aficionados, and it’s happening from September 14th to 17th.
So, when you see those MCL60s tearing up the track, remember that there’s a little bit of magic hidden in that Stealth Mode.
