Bridgestone has just unveiled its latest flagship tyre, the TURANZA 6.
Building on the success of the highly regarded TURANZA T005A, the new TURANZA 6 represents a significant leap forward in ride refinement.
Bridgestone has re-engineered its compound, tread pattern, and tyre structure based on direct customer feedback. The result is an 8% reduction in noise levels and an 8% boost in ride comfort, making it one of the quietest and most luxurious tyres in its class.
More impressively, its wet grip has improved by 14%, giving drivers greater confidence in challenging road conditions.
Perfectly suited for EVs
With the global shift towards electrification, Bridgestone has ensured that the TURANZA 6 is EV-ready from the start. It addresses common EV concerns, including range anxiety and durability.
Thanks to its low rolling resistance, the tyre helps extend battery life, allowing EV drivers to travel further on a single charge. Additionally, it boasts enhanced wear resistance to cope with the increased weight and instant torque of electric vehicles.
Since EVs operate in near silence, Bridgestone has fine-tuned the TURANZA 6 to minimise road noise, ensuring a serene and comfortable ride.
Commitment to sustainability
The TURANZA 6 was developed with an eco-conscious approach, reducing the use of newly sourced raw materials and extending the tyre’s lifespan. This translates into a 16% reduction in CO₂ emissions at the raw material stage and a 13% drop in CO₂ emissions per kilometre during use, thanks to its lower rolling resistance.
Seigo Hata, Vice President of Sales & Marketing at BSAPIC, expressed the brand’s excitement about this new milestone: “As part of Bridgestone Group’s Mid-Term Business Plan (2024-2026), we are doubling down on value creation, strengthening our premium passenger car tyre segment under the concept of ‘Create Good Tyres.’”

The Bridgestone TURANZA 6 will be available in select Asia Pacific markets from early 2025, covering a wide range of sizes from 15 to 20 inches to fit various passenger vehicles. Market-specific size availability may vary.
